Well, while we won’t get to play the amazing looking Bioshock Infinite until next year, it seems like there will still be a semi-notable Bioshock release in 2012 (in the UK, at least:) according to Eurogamer, a listing for “Bioshock: Ultimate Rapture Edition” showed up on the British Board of Film Classification’s website.
The “Ultimate Rapture Edition” apparently includes the first two Bioshocks, plus all of their DLC, in one deluxe package. Of course, hardcore Bioshock fans probably already have these games, so this isn’t going to make the wait for Infinite any easier, but kids who are late to the Bioshock party should probably pick up this convenient, all encompassing package.
It’s worth noting that the package has only been announced for release in the UK so far: there’s a good chance that the rest of the world may miss out on this deal. Then again, 2K is pretty fond of repackaging and re-selling their games, so maybe if enough of you out there whine, the rest of the world can get the Ultimate Rapture Edition as well.
