A Deeper Look at the New Glass Box Engine Powering Sim City

Sim City is finally back and Maxis is finally putting effort into something that isn’t The Sims, which is becoming a tired franchise. They are revitalizing the series with a brand new engine that is going to revolutionize the genre, or so it seems.

In the following video the developers go in-depth as to some of the new features we can expect come next year when Sim City is released. It really looks that Maxis is taking the term simulation to heart as there is a powerful process going on behind the scenes for this game.
