The 3DS is slowly growing into a platform that can call itself modern, with today marking the first demo available for a retail game on the system. Sure, Nintendo hasn’t always been on the cutting edge of Internet integration but it seems they are starting it off right, with a demo of the best looking game on the 3DS to date.
Resident Evil: Revelations is now available for download from the 3DS eShop and it clocks in at around 1,000 blocks, which should barely scratch the surface of your SD cards storage. The demo provides about 30 minutes of play and shows off many of the games play and puzzle mechanics. Also, it provides a taste of what games can look forward to when developers push the system a little bit, as Revelations looks as though it was built for the Gamecube.
Its free, so download it now and see for yourself what all the commotion is about. The full game releases on the 7th of February in North America.
