EA is really trying to prove their Origin service is an up and comer to Steams online game marketplace, with plenty of deals, though 50% of a somewhat high profile game isn’t quite as impressive as the 80 and 90% off deals Valve offers. Regardless of what EA’s trying to do this is still a great deal if you haven’t had the chance to experience the amazing multiplayer that Battlefield 3 offers.
The offer is valid from today until December 25th, so you better grab it quick, as you probably still have to install Origin and create an account if you haven’t purchased any EA games in the past year, for PC. Also, consider it a gift idea for that PC gamer in your family that you happen to know doesn’t have this game already.
