EA announced a while ago those who picked up Battlefield 3 for the PS3 would get a free copy of Battlefield 1943. They were nothing but lying bastards. Not only was it pulled at the last minute, even after some had already picked the game up expecting the free game, but it was only announced on their Twitter as a response to someone, meaning many weren’t aware of the change.
They are being taken to court by Edelson McGuire LLC, who filed a class-action on behalf of PS3 owners. The suit focuses on the fact that EA reported it so late and so poorly, and that they mislead a mountain of customers with a promise they had zero intention of keeping. Lies and false advertising, if this lawsuit falls under the EU there is going to be Hell on Earth.
All the gamers want is the free copy of 1943 that they were promised by EA. Edelson is consider a good lawyer for class action lawsuits and he has a focus in the entertainment branch of law. Depending on where the lawsuit takes place, EA will either sheepishly hand the game over, or get beaten down into the dirt. I don’t even follow law news yet I heard of Edelson many times.

I think you mean 1943?

So I do, I’m not great at keeping track of multiple numbers.
