Dear Nintendo, what did America ever do to you? First you deny us quality titles like Xenoblade, The Last Story, and Pandora’s Tower, leaving your American fans no reason to keep their Wii’s after they finish Zelda, and now this– Nintendo has announced a new 3DS bundle for Europe that packages the recent Ocarina of Time remake with a slick, elegantly decorated Zelda themed 3DS that is sure to give Zelda fans a raging “Skyward Sword” in their pants.
Now, I understand that in this situation, there are probably a host of economic reasons as to why this version of the 3DS isn’t coming to America, but please, Nintendo, throw your hardcore fans a bone. My Wii has sat unused most of this year (most of last year too,) with Zelda being pretty much the only reason I’ll use it in the foreseeable future. We all know that Nintendo can fix this situation by releasing Xenoblade and The Last Story (both of which were released in other territories to rave reviews,) but since they seem strangely hesitant to give fans what they want, they could at least release this system in the US. I’ve held off on getting a 3DS up until now because of all the redesign rumors, but I will totally run out to the store and buy one today if this version of the system was available. Shallow, I know, since it’s only a cosmetic change, but I love me some Zelda, and I’d even buy tampons if Nintendo stamped Triforces on them.
C’mon, Nintendo. I bought Odama for Gamecube. You owe me.

I guess I’ll import one of these, it’s not like the 3DS is region loc- FFFFFUUUUUUUUUU-

Well the way things are going you might as well import since Europe will likely get the best games anyway.

I’ll wait until someone comes up with a hack that makes the 3DS region free. Or Etrian Odyssey 4. One of the two.

Fear not! It is coming to North America!
