Halo: Anniversary – Launch Trailer

Halo: Anniversary – Launch Trailer

Zack Dodge 01 Nov

As IGX’s resident Halo guru, my job is to keep you in the loop with all things Halo. Today is no different, what we have for your viewing pleasure today is the Halo: Anniversary Launch Trailer. Seems like 343i has done a great job of trying to incorporate events that happened during Halo: Reach. The trailer shown below shows the events leading up to the departure of Pillar of Autumn. Lots of classic Halo imagery and set pieces are shown off and even a quick glimpse of the flood.

The Pillar of Autumn is the ship that Master Chief begins his journey from at the start of Halo: Combat Evolved. Halo: Reach briefly touches on this towards the end of the campaign, but considering the history of the franchise, most gamers at this point have had some time to check out Combat Evolved.

343i wanted to make this title accesible to all who have not had the pleasure of experiencing the full Master Chief saga, considering the age of the first Halo game, many younger generations may be in for some serious classic gameplay.
