Capcom does really know how to make a big bang at every convention they attend. After their big presence at San Diego Comic Con, announcing the development of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and new characters coming for Street Fighter X Tekken, the publisher again made a noticeable impact during this weekends’ Comic-Con in New York.
Capcom announced, at the event, the Street Fighter X Tekken Release Date will be March 6 for the US and March 9 for Europe. The game will be available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles, but that’s not all!
Yoshinori Ono, the Capcom Producer who announced the release date also laid out some information about the development of Street Fighter X Tekken for the PC and PS Vita version, though there has been no announcement as to a release date for the two versions yet.
Furthermore, Ono also stated a few details for Street Fighter X Tekken Special Edition. The package will include the game, a “build-it-yourself” arcade cabinet bank, and a prequel comic Book from UDON. The Special Edition Package will also include 36 “Gems” which will be used for the new gameplay mechanic, which allows players to modify character stats and abilities.
However, Capcom did not provide any details as to the price of the regular or the Special Edition of the game.
