And here we go! All the planning and preparation will now be put to work when the gates open at exactly 11:00 am Pacific Standard Time as the first ever Call of Duty Expo goes into gear in Playa Vista, Los Angeles California (No better place to hold an even like this than “Playa Vista”). Fans are surely going to be in for a treat with all the events lined up for this 2 day Expo, as the Call of Duty Website has already launched its live stream coverage of everything that is going to be happening in and around the place. People are now flocking to the venue (at the time of writing) It was first announced that coming in as early as 9:30 AM was recommended so, if you are looking to catch up, you better ditch the shower, toothbrush, hairspray and get going.

The first day of the event will feature performances from Dropkick Murphy’s on 8:00 pm, and a whole other barrage of other activities await fans in the venue. Ohh … Not to mention the chance to be the first to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, as multiplayer challenge events are set for every ticket holder, be the first to experience Modern Warfare 3’s amazing Spec Ops Survival Mode, which is also being served with the lone of MW3 Multiplayer challenges in the event. The primary qualification round of the $1 Million Tournament also kicks off in the event with four slots up for grabs as these games will be televised for the entire world to see. King of the Hill matches will also be held for Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 2, World at War, Call of Duty 4 and Call of Duty Black Ops. Players will have the chance to reign supreme in these chaotic free-for-all matches.

By the way, Kanye West is performing on closing night, just a little bit of information as you might go home early on the last day of the event – you’ll probably regret it. Some last minute information and details about the event has just been released on the Call of Duty Website.

  • Restroom Facilities are vast and fans can take their pick at permanent plumbing or portable toilets
  • Free Wi-Fi will be available to all ticket holders, so expect a lot of tweeting and a lot of Facebook uploads today servers!
  • Events Events Events and even more Events have been added. Scrapyard Paintball, Zipline, Jeep Driving, etc. So don’t forget to wear your sunscreen, today’s weather is projected to be hot (maybe not, check the weather forecast for that one)
  • Registration begins at the venue at  exactly 9:30 am Today. So, arrive early and don’t forget your ticket (if you have already purchased one) to avoid the never ending line.
