Hideo Kojima teases Zone of the Enders 3DS?

Hideo Kojima, creator of Konami’s popular Metal Gear series, is pretty active on twitter; he writes pretty meticulously about his work, what music he’s listening to, and his travels abroad. Today Kojima has been tweeting about interesting things he found laying around the Kojima Productions office, and while usually that wouldn’t amount to anything newsworthy, he did just tweet this picture, which showcases a newly released action figure based on Jehuty, the protagonist’s mecha from PS2 classic Zone of the Enders.

But more interesting than the figure is the logo behind it, which apparently says “Zone of the Enders 3DS.” Could this be Kojima’s subtle way of unveiling his next project? Next to Metal Gear, Zone of the Enders is probably Kojima’s most popular creation, and I know many fans (including myself,) who are already frothing at the mouth at the thought of a new game in the series. With Tokyo Game Show just a few weeks away, it would make sense for Konami to announce a huge title like this in the near future.
