PSN Play Program, or PPP, is a new service that will be offered to all PSN users, not just Plus subscribers. PPP will feature four new PSN titles with the ability to pre-order each them, which will net you certain bonuses depending on the game pre-ordered. This service is likely Sony’s answer to Summer of Arcade.
As of August 9th all users could begin pre-ordering one of the four main titles in the program, which are listed in order of release: Street Fighter III Third Strike Online Edition, The Baconing, BloodRayne: Betrayal, and Renegade Ops. Street Fighter III Third Strike Online Edition will be released August 23 and the Pre-order cut-off date is August 18, for a price of $15. pre-odering this will get you a bonus, downloadable unlock for the boss character Gill.
For those who purchase all four of these games before September 19 they will also receive Payday: The Heist, for free when it launches on September 20. Below is the breakdown of the remaining three titles and their bonuses.
