Bungie had recently placed a copyright for Aerospace, which many thought was relating to the new game they are working on for PS3, while Bungie is still hiring PS3 developers the title to be worked on is not yet known. Bungie did announce that Aerospace is most definitely not a game, but it is a new program to help indie mobile developers get recognition for their work.
Bungies describes it as “a new venture that will connect us – and you – with what we hope will become a celebrated group of kick ass mobile developers who dream of seeing their own games rocket off the launch pad and touch down safely into the palms of your hot little hands.”
So what exactly does this mean for mobile developers, well “Bungie Aerospace will give studios the creative freedom and the resources they need, like access to the Bungie.net platform and an audience with the incredible Bungie community, to launch their entertainment experiences into orbit.” according to the press release.
Harebrained Schemes’ first mobile title developed under Bungie Aerospace will be ‘Crimson’ little is known about the title as of yet but it comes from the same studio that created the ‘I Love Bees’ AR game.
