The PC will continue to be a haven for the best quality version of many games released on it’s console sibling, it’s too bad that many of the greatest games tend not to make it to the PC until far later or never. Rockstar, however, has always had a strong presence on the PC as they humbly began there, then known as DMA Design, when working on the original GTA. L.A. Noire’s PC release shows Rockstars dedication to its PC fans, despite failing to release Red Dead Redemption on the platform.
Not only is the release going to feature updated graphics due to more powerful systems, but it will also feature dedicated 3D support, which I hope means that it is actually made for 3D Monitors as apposed to relying on the drivers to convert the game to 3D. Though if you are worried your rig isn’t up to par with the game then worry not as Rockstar has said it will run on a wide range of hardware configurations.
No release date has been announced, just a very vague “Fall 2011” release has been mentioned. We will update you when there is a firm date and system requirements.
Now Red Dead Redemption still has no PC release, which may have caused many to loose a little faith in Rockstars dedication to PC gamers, hopefully the promised quality of L.A. Noire will make up for that, maybe.

Excellent. I wonder what mods people will make for it!

In all honesty, I would love a mod that turned you into Phoenix Wright.
