The retailer which has become one of the go-tos for the latest games has upped the prices they are willing to give to gamers for their old and used games by 50% across the board until the 12th of June. A very generous offer.
If you’ve played a game to death several times and weren’t keen on trading it in because you didn’t think that you would get a good price on it, take it down to GameStop. Until June 12th they will be giving a very generous bonus on all games that are traded in for credit towards any of their products.
I feel this is quite generous on their part, as I feel that GameStop are a bit scroogey on what they pay (and charge) for used games. If you’re a bit short on cash, this is the perfect chance to wring some worth out of them. Even if you would only get $15, another 50% brings that up to at least $24. Trading in some recent games you’ve already burned through could net you two or three brand-new titles.
I don’t normally shop at GameStop but since I have some new games I simply didn’t like, I’ll be netting myself some credit towards that PS3 I’ve been itching to get for a good while as well as clearing some space on my shelf. Even if I only get $15 each that’s a nice $190 towards it if I trade them all in.
