Surprise indie hit Minecraft is coming to the Xbox 360, and with Kinect support no less. The game’s popularity spread entirely through positive word of mouth, and within months, the procedurally generated world-building game created by a one man has managed to become one of the best selling games of the year.
Microsoft didn’t divulge any details regarding how the game controls via Kinect, or how multiplayer or level sharing would work on the 360, but nonetheless, the acquisition of Minecraft as a 360 exclusive was probably the biggest pleasant surprise of Microsoft’s E3 press conference.

Well that should do something about the fact that my PC can’t run MC at a silky-smooth framerate. If they don’t break anything, this will net MS a large amount of funds, Minecraft is awesome.

I wonder if this will bring FortressCraft’s reign as an indie games top seller to an end.
