Anyone who plays T11 raids on World of Warcraft is aware of the incredibly high difficulty, making them incredibly difficult for most players. However, Blizzard’s developers got straight on the ball and made a colossal list of changes to the raid.
The changes includes damage for a range of attacks being slashed by either a fifth, such as a Nefarian’s Shadowflame Barrage, and a Magmaw getting similar treatment, or two fifths. Maloriaks got a similar nerf to their powers almost across the board. Casting times for abilities were increased and effectiveness was cut down very heavily, cooldowns were also extended, and the health of many enemies was cut by a full fifth.
Most nerfs in gameplay are directed at players in my experience, but this is one of the few times I’ve seen an entire range of monsters get smacked by the nerf hammer. They’re still powerful while having damages well in the thousands, but 20% is a very large difference in MMOs.
These changes will take full effect in patch 4.2, and it’s likely that the value of drops from the tier will take a very significant drop in the process due to being more accessible to players. I’d consider hawking it off while you can before deflation kicks in.
