Last Week at a press event held by NISA in San Francisco that had announced the North American release date of Cave Story 3D. Many were under the impression that the title would launch late June, but it has been confirmed that it will be released August 9th.
Cave Story 3D is a 3DS remake of the original, very popular, PC Platformer title that came out back in 2004. It was then released on the Wii as a WiiWare title and now will be making it’s way toward Nintendo’s portable 3D console. This version will include new and redone content both to enhance it and to make it work best with the 3D technology that the 3DS has to offer.
