Nintendo Updates Virtual Store

Nintendo Updates Virtual Store

Alex 18 May

Gamers will have number of new options from this week onwards on the Nintendo virtual marketplace. They range from an arcade fishing game for WiiWare to a 1995 classic SNES game. Chrono Trigger is leading the pack this week on the virtual console. This game is based on the main character named Crono and his friends called Marle and Lucca. The storyline follows the teleportation experiment of scientist Lucca which sends the characters back in time where they set out to fix an ancient evil that threatens to destroy their world. A wide range of fantastical elements were featured in the game throughout its many time periods. It was developed by a team which was led by the creator of the Dragon Quest series, Yuji Horii, Dragon Ball artist Akira Toriyama and composer Yasunori Mitsuda.

Nintendo added two new games today after switching to the WiiWare download space. The first of the games added is Gabrielle’s Ghostly Groove: Monster Mix. The game is developed by Natsume; the game involves players dancing their way to save a troubled Monster Town. The game also features a multiplayer mode in which up to four gamers can play together. A demo for Lead the Meerkats is the other new item which is out on WiiWare. The full game involves player playing out the characters of little creatures of Savanna and retails for around $10. Gamers looking to buy a new title to take along with them on the go now have three new options for downloading from the DSiWare hub today; the first of them being Big Bass Arcade from Big John Games and the other is Word Searcher 3. The last of the newly available games is Hellokids-Vol. 1: Coloring and Painting from BiP Media.
