At last years E3 Konami showed off a new Silent Hill game and with that came much speculation as to how the new title would work and what gameplay graphics would look like when it is built 100% for a HD console. Though details are still fairly sparse on the game, a few screenshots have been released to show how the third person perspective will work and what the in-game environments will be.
The biggest change for this game will be the sound designer from Akira Yamaoka to Daniel Licht, composer for the TV series Dexter, and also the removal Mary Elizabeth McGlynn who is a staple voice actor in the previous games soundtracks. This could prove to be either a great thing or a terrible change, especially for the series fans. It should also be mentioned that Silent Hill Downpour will have a brand new developer Vatra Games, who is also working on Rush’n Attack: Ex-Patriot.
Including the title image, these will make 6 new images that should appease all you horror fans until a new trailer is unveiled at E3 this year.
It’s got me excited, how about you? It’s only a few months away now.
