In the world of video games it has become pretty common nature to see a game get release date pushed back due to production or marketing issues. On the other hand game releases getting an early bump in the date department I would have to say is even more rare. Well thats the case for Brink according to todays reports. Brink all along has been in aiming for a May 17th release date, but according to Bethesda Brink will now ship in North America on May 10th.
Bethesda went on to say that Brink wrapped up earlier then expected, and there was no reason to hold the game back from us gamers. Thats pretty impressive if you ask me, this will be a nice suprise for anyone who has had Brink on their radar since last E3. Hopefully their are no lauch issues now, or Bethesda may be re thinking that last potential week of polish and shine. This I imagine was an intelligent decision and shouldn’t cause any problems.
So to be clear Brink’s launch date goes as follows:
Old Date NA – May 17/2011
Old Date EU – May 20/2011
New Date NA – May 10/2011
New Date EU – May 13/2011
