After the long awaited Starcraft II release many were teased with the impending release of the Protoss and Zerg campaign instalments. Though they were not released within the release window of the game many speculated that it would be no more than a year before they were out and playable. Who can blame them. Blizzard certainly doesn’t like to rush things though.
“We’re working on it as hard as we can,” said Dustin Browder, StarCraft II game director, during a chat with Eurogamer. “We’re really trying to push on this and get it out as soon as we can.
“I don’t think you’ll be playing it this year. That seems very unlikely to me. But we’re pounding away on it as fast as we possibly can.” This is in regards to the Heart of the Swarm expansion/standalone game.
Diablo III is another of Blizzards creation that is long overdue and still awaiting an official release date.
