BlizzCon 2011 Set for October

BlizzCon 2011 Set for October

Nick Hernandez 07 Feb

It’s time to start booking your flight and hotel for October, as Blizzard has marked it’s calender and set the date for the sixth BlizzCon convention. It will again take place at the Anaheim Convention Center and will run from October 21 through October 22.

As always, attendees will get to try the latest Blizzard games, attend Blizzard panel discussions, and partake in tournaments, among other things. Last year’s event was headlined by Tenacious D and featured the reveal of the fifth and final Diablo III class.

Blizzard has yet to announce the tickets will cost this year or when they will allow you to purchase them. Last year, tickets went on sale around the start of June for $150 each and sold out very quick – the tickets were sold on two days, and both times all the tickets they had for sale were gone in less then thirty minutes!

based out of London, Ontario; and has been flexing his literary skills for about 2 years. Initially attracted to the space due to his kinship with the creative minds that tend to socialize through the gaming industry, and having played games all his life; it led to a natural willingness to learn more about both the people, and entities that drive innovation in the space. A self-confessed Conter Strike: Source aficionado he claims the aforementioned as his favourite game of all time, simply due to the sheer amount of hours he has spent in the game. An optimist by nature, Nick tends to see the best in everyone, even if they can’t in themselves.
