There seems to be good gaming news for iPhone users out there, and no, it’s not another flash game. Devil May Cry 4 and Resident Evil Mercenaries VS is coming to an iPhone near you. This exciting news follows Verizon’s very big (but not so secret) accouncment earlier today that the iPhone will now be available to Verizon customers starting February 10, 2011.
Devil May Cry 4 is a single-player Capcom game that follows Nero and Dante, as they fight their enemies with a series of weapons such as firearms and swords. Fighting through levels called “missions” and sometimes solving puzzles or gathering items, this game is great for those who grew up playing this game on their Playstations when it was first released in 2001.
Resident Evil Mercenaries VS is yet another game in the string of very popular games of the namesake. You can connect to other devices through wifi or bluetooth and defeat zombies co-op style. It is a stand alone app and will be available later this year.
So iPhone users, would you guys buy this app? For non-iPhone users, would you like it if Capcom alienate you guys?
