Halo: Reach – Noble Map Pack Preview – Bungie Walkthrough of Tempest and Breakpoint

Halo: Reach – Noble Map Pack Preview – Bungie Walkthrough of Tempest and Breakpoint

Zack Dodge 25 Nov

Bungie began their week with a proper video walk through of Anchor 9, they have continued the promo today with more footage on the upcoming DLC launching next week. These maps are beginning to look really polished, and look like they are going to promote some excellent gameplay. Noble map pack seems to have a little bit for everyone, whether you are looking for small arena maps, large team environments, or a new invasion space Bungie provides on all fronts.

The Bungie teams’ artists have been working very hard at play testing the maps as well over the past five months, so not only will the new maps look great from an artist perspective, but they will also play well due to all contributors molding the pace and shape of the maps. Personally I am excited for Tempest because I am huge fan of Halo 3’s “Valhalla”, not that this map is a port or a remake, but it just seems to give off that epic, human, outdoor play space. Maps like Hemorrhage have been fun, but they have not been providing the dynamic terrain that has been needed.

Below are two trailers directly from Bungie.net, the maps certainly look to be worth the money if you have been consistently playing Reach since launch, but considering the busy gaming season I can understand if other titles have posed as a distraction. So check out the trailers below and enjoy the maps next week if you happen to grab them. Enjoy!
