Medal Of Honor And Tony Hawk Shred Disappointing Sales

Medal Of Honor And Tony Hawk Shred Disappointing Sales

Nick Hernandez 19 Nov

All the games before EA’s newest Medal of Honor and Robomodo’s Tony Hawk Shred had great performance selling millions of units. However, the recently released Tony Hawk: Shred has sold less than 3000 units across platforms during its first week in the US.

Another game that underperformed during the same period was EA’s latest Medal Of Honor which sold slightly more than 1 million units during October 2010, short of EA’s expectations of selling 1.5 million units.

EA’s newest sports franchise, EA Sports MMA was also disappointing with 45,000 units sold over the same period.

Tony Hawk: Shred developer Robomodo has fired 60 employees last month, revealing that it would no longer be working on the franchise which, I guess after many many years of milking it they finally waved the white flag.

A self-confessed Conter Strike: Source aficionado he claims the aforementioned as his favourite game of all time, simply due to the sheer amount of hours he has spent in the game. An optimist by nature, Nick tends to see the best in everyone, even if they can’t in themselves.
