3D is becoming less a fad and more the future as each day passes. Viewsonic is just one of the many companies pushing it into the right direction. Viewsonic’s 3DV5 is a 720p shooter with a 2.4-inch autostereoscopic display, not unlike the forthcoming Nintendo’s 3DS.
The use of it is fairly simple, it has a one-touch command to switch between 2D and 3D, then once the third dimension has been enabled users can hook it up to their 3DTV via HDMI. Users can also throw these up on YouTube’s 3D channel if they can’t afford a new TV and have some anaglyph specs handy.
The main upside to this device is that you can enjoy playing back your videos on the camera itself in 3D, the downside being the internal storage is limited to 10MB, but of course everyone has a SD card laying around somewhere.
If you have a burning desire to create mid-range quality 3D films then would you be willing to pay £150 ($238)?
