The good news continues to role out surrounding the release of Black Ops in the coming weeks. Announced today, Black Ops for PC gamers will be released through Steam in order to ensure the quality and security that all of the faithful PC gamers deserve.
The game will be available at the same time that retail versions will launch, to ensure that all gamers are getting a fair chance to play ASAP. Digital distribution is a great way to receive games on launch day, as I have learned the hard way waiting in game lines can be tough work. Being able to download a full retail game from the comfort of my desk sounds fantastic.
Amongst other Black Ops PC news the minimum requirements have also surfaced, they will be listed below to see if your machine will make the cut:
OS: Windows Vista / XP / 7
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 or AMD Phenom X3 8750 or better

Video Card: Shader 3.0 or better 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT / ATI Radeon X1950Pro or better
Let us know what platform or if any platform you will be grabbing Black Ops on in November. After all Call of Duty did begin on PC, so now may be the time to revisit a classic way to experience a classic franchise.
