The immensely popular Pocket Monster RPG is growing in popularity even after all these years and it’s multiple coloured releases. Japan proved this was true when the first week sales of Pokemon Black and White’s combined sales came back, weighing in at a whopping 2.6 million sales. To put this in perspective, Halo Reach sold 44,413 in the same week of September 13-19.
Not only did Reach not sell close to Pokemon, it also only charted in at 4th place in the land of the red sun, showing that shooters just aren’t their bag over there. The two other games that topped Halo were Front Mission Evolved(51,084) and Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s Tag Force 5(45,879), 3rd and 4th respectively. Check after the break for the entire weeks sales breakdown.
