Last week we mentioned the leak of the 3DSs release date, and that it would be November of this year for Japan. Now, further confirmation has come after a list of facts pertaining to Mario’s 25th anniversary was published in a Japanese newspaper, Asahi Shinbun, which is the second largest circulation in the archipelago.
The article mentioned that Paper Mario would be released on the 3DS this year, which would be around the suspected date of November for the launch of Nintendo’s 3D handheld. I think this is not only great news because it confirms the impending launch of a very anticipated piece of hardware, but also that Paper Mario’s cardboard cut-out likeness will be in glasses-free 3D.
This will add greater depth and enjoyment to an already great game. Now if only they would leak the North American release date.
