Sony Launches an Anti-Kinect Site

Sony Launches an Anti-Kinect Site

Chris Hernandez 15 Sep

Sony, being the clever people they are, decided to push their button-filled motion device by bashing it’s competition. This is certainly not something new for Sony as they have also gone against the Wii and iPhone in a similar fashion. If you are curious to see their genius in action head on over to www.yaybuttons.com and check it out for yourself. It is essentially an interactive picture of the Move controller that displays a quote every time you click on one of the buttons. Some of the quotes might seems a little silly if you were to view the page on a touch screen interface, but it’s still amusing.

I am not sure if this is meant to be a viral marketing move or just a spit in the face of Kinect. I am personally excited for both variations of motion control, though Move has more immediate relevance to my gaming preference. What do you guys think?
