Pokemon is universal. Love it or hate it, you know what it is. Many of us grew up watching the TV series, waking up at 7am before school to catch the latest episode of this Japanese anime that would sweep our nation. Then we evolved to the card game, with some rare cards that would run for quite a high price now. Comic book stores, anime stores, and some trade shows not only sell these cards, but have competitive tournaments. The console games have sold millions, and are one of the most popular games to buy for your nintendo console. Well, hold onto your hats folks, it might be a live action movie!
This was the letter received to explain exactly how this video clip was taped:

I’ve been lurking this site for a while and I wanted to see if you were interested in posting this video I captured tonight. Today after work my friend and I were invited to view a “secret movie trailer screening.” We were not told what it would be, but when I got there 30 other people and myself were shown a trailer for a Pokemon live action movie. It was super sketchy but I decided to record the last 30 seconds or so of the trailer which was about 3 min long. The clip is in a zip file and the password is “gottacatchemall.” I can’t give you much more detail then this. I wasn’t supposed to film this, but holy shit it was awesome. I’ll be in touch with you guys when I can talk more about it.

The email was fake, but if this content is real, I am not sure just how much excitement this holds for us Pokemom believers.
Now, the question that everyone has on their minds. Is this for real? And if it is, will it fail just as Dragonball the movie has? With so many fake trailers on youtube, it’s hard to tell. We will keep you guys updated when we know more ourselves. 🙂
