New Vegas Has Most Useful , Least Interesting Pre-Order Bonus

New Vegas Has Most Useful , Least Interesting Pre-Order Bonus

Chris Hernandez 14 Sep

Pre-order bonuses are becoming more and more popular, not only for the consumers, but for the Developers and publishers of games as well as it helps sell new copies of a game. People, including myself, love free stuff so they will generally pre-order games just for the free stuff and maybe even sell the  game afterwards. Fallout New Vegas is not only a game worth pre-ordering but it comes with something you can actually use, in the real world, and no it’s not miniature statue for your mantle, it’s coasters! Four drink coasters in all can be yours if you pre-order New Vegas at BestBuy, $5 is all you need to do so and you will get the Mercenary Pack DLC as well.

The Mercenary Pack, available when you pre-order through Best Buy, contains:

  • Lightweight Metal Armor – Modified for long-range travel, this Metal Armor sacrifices some protection for mobility and overall weight.
  • Mercenary’s Grenade Rifle – Though similar to other 40mm Grenade Rifles in the Mojave Wasteland, this model has a faster reload cycle.
  • 3 Super Stimpaks – When you absolutely, positively, need to keep your blood inside your body, Super Stimpaks fix you up in no time.
  • 3 Doctors Bags – Mercenaries and broken limbs go together like Iguana-on-a-Stick and Nuka Cola. Thankfully, these Doctors Bags take a bit of sting out of the inevitable crushed skull.

So, 4 coasters for your cold beverages and a DLC pack for free, just for pre-ordering a game, that already promises to be good, seems like sure deal to me. You get the bonuses whether it’s for the collectors edition or the normal one. Fallout: New Vegas’ release date is October 19th in North America and October 22nd in Europe and will be available on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

My thoughts as well, I do think if enough friends got these coasters then we could all play giant Pogs. I am not sure if you had Pogs there in the England, but they were fun back in the early nineties.
