In case you haven’t already pre-ordered the new Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, some news popped up this morning that might make you think otherwise. There is much that can be learned from a public beta and PS3 owners will be able to perfect their multiplayer experience as of October 4th in Europe, and early access as of September 13th in North America.
Two different game modes will be available named “Wanted” and “Alliance”. Wanted sounds like a classic deathmatch where the player must assassinate a certain number of players. Alliance is a co-operative mode in which you must fulfil certain contracts on certain players.
This will be a great opportunity to get some feedback before the game launches in November. I am personally a large fan of public beta’s, this is never a bad idea, and if you have a good product this can only generate positive publicity.
