After announcing many new features of their fancy new baby, Bungie also took the time to make another announcement. A limited edition silver matte Xbox 360 with the UNSC emblem placed on it. Now, as you can see from the image above this is the new Xbox 360 S that has received the royal Bungie treatment.
I must say this edition looks much more pleasing to the eyes than their halo 3 green box that was released, also it goes much better with other electronics in my cabinet. You can pre-order this bad boy right now. It comes with a 250GB hard drive and will set you back $399.99 in the US, no other releases were priced or announced.
Sure, it’s $100 more than a standard 360 S but it also comes with an extra controller and an awesome wireless headset, both of which I could certainly use. I am glad they decided to go with a matte finish as apposed to a glossy one so there will be less dusting needed to keep this fancy machine sparkling in my living room.
There was one lucky fellow in the panel at Comic-Con that won himself one of these for himself, lucky guy. Will anyone be picking this up or have you pre-ordered it already?
